In this example there use to be a door at ground level. The previous owners decided to add a deck and have a new door exit out onto it. In doing so they left the wall covered only in plywood and a wood frame. The new owners decided to rebuild and improve on the existing deck. Although the hole in the wall was not what they expected.

We laid in a new block foundation and new double width brick wall on top of the block to match the double brick already on the house. We also did a quick parge of the block work to match the surrounding foundation. The mortar and parge still have to dry. They will match once the drying process is done! Sorry we can not guarantee the brickwork or messy work done by others.
