Click on the above thumbnails to see a build in progress. In this example, the existing style of brick was unavailable. To overcome this, we rebuilt the chimney using a different brick that matched the colour and texture of the brick on the sides of the house. The old brick was a rouge texture brick and did not match the shell tex face brick of the existing brick on the home. As an architectural feature, we used a black mortar to accent the Williamsburg red brick. The inside diameter of the chimney was larger then the old 8x8 flu tiles so we went with a 8 x 12 to allow a better flow of air and easier (less narrow) access for cleaning.
