Cultured Stone Fireplace in Vaughan

Click on the above thumbnails to see a build in progress. As with any fireplace it is always a pleasure to do. The clients where on hand and let us know there specific details in regards to the venting. Most fireplaces would use the steal grates to cover the intake and output vents. In this case the client wanted vents cut out of the cultured stone. Not an easy task. The stone used on the mantel and hearth is Indiana Limestone at 2 1/4 in height. The stone facing used was Owening Corning's Pro-Fit Alpine Ledgestone - Mojave colour.
