Click on the above thumbnails to see a build in progress. In this example we had the front of the house to parge above grade. The foundation was solid except for the inconsistencies in the smoothness of the concrete due to the intial setting process when the house was first built and also due to the weathering. Rain water permeates these small holes or cracks in the concrete and crack the spall the concrete quicker than a smooth face. As usual we us the standard type "S" and our bonding agent (mortar to concrete).
