Brick to Stone Replacement

The brick in this sill rowlock was damaged beyond repair. We used an Indian Limestone with a height of 4 inches. Generally most homes that we work on only require a 3 inch Limestone sill, but in this case two things made it such that a larger piece was required. First the joints on the home were to large and also their where slivers of brick (shadow rowlock) under the brick sill to bump the height of the window up. The homeowner decided to go with a stone face as to a smooth faced stone.
